Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1 1/4 C sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp half and half
1 tsp vanilla
3 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C sugar to press

1. Cream butter and sugar until light yellow. Beat in egg. Add lemon juice, half and half and vanilla.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture and blend well.
3. Drop by 1 inch scoops or form into 1 inch balls and place 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
4. Bake 10 minutes at 350º until golden on edges.
