Fresh Figs Stuffed with Blue Cheese from California Fresh Figs

Ingredients:

12 fresh figs
4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
8 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
Balsamic reduction

  1. Quarter figs from bottom up, cutting about 2/3 of the way but not through the stem. Open figs and spoon about 1/2 oz blue cheese in middle of each. Press quarters together to close over cheese.
  2. Wrap quarters in prosciutto; arrange on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or until heated through.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes; arrange on serving plate and drizzle with balsamic reduction.
