Black & White Cupcakes

Ingredients:

4 Tbsp butter, melted
1/4 C oil
1/2 C water
1 C flour
1 C sugar
1/4 C cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 C half and half
1 tsp vanilla

  1. Melt butter in microwave. Add oil and water to butter.
  2. In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, soda and salt. Add butter mixture and beat with a mixer until smooth. Add egg, half & half and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into 12 cupcake liners filling about three fourths full.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Cool and Frost.
Frosting:
1/4 C butter, softened
1/4 C cream cheese, softened
2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 -3 Tbsp half and half
1 Toblerone milk chocolate bar
1 Toblerone white chocolate bar
  1. Combine all ingredients in mixer and cream together.
  2. Spread over cooled cupcakes.
  3. Cut Toblerone bars into 12 triangles. Place one of each color on top of each cupcake.
