1 C heavy cream
6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
* optional 1/4 tsp ground pink peppercorns, 3 Tbsp cognac, port or other liquor
- Warm cream in a saucepan. Add chocolate and stir until melted.
- Add vanilla, salt and desired liquor to ganache. Keep warm.
Serve with marshmallows, pound or angel food cake cubes, banana chunks and/or strawberries that have been roasted over the fire.
